All of the images on the website are digital images of original items held by individuals who have contributed to the project. The contributors have kindly agreed to allow users of this website to download and use the images and audio-visual files for personal use, and for most non-commercial educational purposes - this includes use by teachers, pupils and students, for research or teaching purposes, within the classroom, the school, or on a school or college intranet.
However, copyright clearance must be obtained for any other use of images and audio-visual files for example on a publicly available website or in a publication. Requests for permission to use images should be sent to Culturenet Cymru, who will contact the contributor who holds the original item, as they hold copyright in the digital images. Requests for permission to use audio visual files should be sent to Culturenet Cymru, who holds the copyright in the audio-visual files.
